June 21 (Day 173 of 366)

I like Chinese food.
The waiters never are rude.
Think of the many things they’ve done to impress.
There’s Maoism, Taoism, I Ching, and Chess.

I Like Chinese, Monty Python

(I’ve never eaten here, but I’ve heard that pretty much every Chinese chef in Louisville has done a stint here at some time early in their careers.)

  1. Sounds like you need to give it a try! The only restaurants we ate at occasionally in Spain were Chinese, because we could get spicy, hot food. We would basically clean them out of their red chili sauces, and they could tell immediately that we were not Spaniards by level of spice we could take and the amount of chile sauce we ate.

    1. You New Mexicans, you! I’ve not tried the Oriental House because it looks a bit scuzzy, but after reading a couple of really positive reviews recently and then seeing that it is considered a bit of a local training ground, I might have to give it a go. Shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, right?
